Carter's Day At The Park, September 2011

Mike and I love doing toddler photoshoots. Rolling around in the dirt, getting down on a little one's level just really embodies why we love photography so much, because it captures the tiny little seconds and makes them into major events. Take Carter here, for instance. Walking along with his favourite popper toy (which I love they even still make, I think we all remember having one of those, don't we?) he suddenly comes across this huge, amazing playground. He stops, looks up and... *cue 2001: A Space Odyssey Theme Song*

And then, it's just pure fun after that.

With a little jaunt past where the cool kids hang out...

To getting back to nature..

And back with Mom and Dad.

We had a great time...and so did Carter!
